Global Stem Cells Group announced plans to develop and host six new symposiums in Argentina, Colombia, Chile, Peru, Costa Rica and Ecuador in 2016. According to Global Stem Cells Group CEO Benito Novas, the lineup of Latin American conferences will be a Spanish circuit of disclosure and discussion of the science related to regenerative medicine.

The decision follows the success of the international biotech company’s four successful symposiums in 2015, focused on regenerative medicine and stem cell therapies, in concert with the steady growth of new stem cell clinics throughout Latin America. GSCG is developing the 2016 symposiums to further educate the medical community and the public on the latest advancements in stem cell therapies.

Hundreds of physicians, researchers and regenerative medicine experts participated in GSCG symposiums held this year in Argentina, Chile, Colombia and Mexico. Thanks to Global Stem Cells Group’s growing network of world-class stem cell researchers, treatment practitioners, and investors committed to advancing stem cell medicine, the company is rapidly moving closer to its goal of making stem cell technologies available to patients throughout Latin America, and training physicians and medical practitioners to bring treatments into their offices.

“We have achieved remarkable success bringing together a variety of committed stem cell advocates, specialists and speakers from the U.S. and around the world to present advancements in stem cell therapies and regenerative medicine to receptive audiences,” Novas says. “In 2016, Global Stem Cells Group plans to further expand the dialogue between the world’s medical and scientific communities in order to advance stem cell technologies and translate them into point of care medicine.

“Our mission of bringing the benefits of stem cell therapies to the physician’s office safely, effectively and in compliance with the highest standards of care in the world is being realized, and we are witnessing the benefits of our efforts to separate myths from facts when it comes to stem cell science and technology.”

In addition to developing its 2016 symposium schedule, Global Stem Cells Group has opened new clinics throughout Latin America, Europe and Asia, expanded its network of strategic alliances with stem cell practitioners and technology developers worldwide, appointed a new chief operating officer, expanded its training course and research divisions, and opened a GMP 1000 facility in Santiago, Chile—all in 2015.
